OHIP error code – VW1 – Service not valid for WCB

Background

Claim is being submitted under the WCB payment program, but the services being submitted are not eligible for Workers Compensation Board payment. 

Solution

Double check the claim / patient profile to confirm the correct payment program has been selected for the patient.

Confirm correct service codes have been recorded on claim.
