Originally from ticket #561.

After I have added and saved a new claim, what are the proper next steps to add a new client claim using clone?

How do you mean?... creating a claim by "cloning" essentially grabs all the data from the original claim and populates it in the new claim. You just need to save/ save-submit. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you, but how to ececute the clone function is still unclear (I understand the concept)

What at the exact sequence of keyboard actions that should be executed after saving a claim?

Change the client name in the Quick Search field, then hit the clone claim, then hit save?

OR

Hit the clone claim, change the name in Quick Search and Patient name then hit save? etc

 

Hit clone, then change patient name in record (not in quick search), save
