How long does it take for claims to be received by the Ministry of Health

I tried to submit to OHIP several hours ago for the first time. How do I make sure they went through?

Answer

Usually, it takes up to 3 days to receive the batch number after submitting your claims. Please be advised if you receive a batch confirmation number for your claims, it means they have been successfully received by the MoH.

If you haven't received batch number after 3 days, please follow up with your Claims Assessor at their MoH toll free line  1-800-262-6524.

To find the batch number, please log into your web account and look under the "LOOKUP CLAIMS" (screenshot below).
