EQ2 - Specialty code is inactive or not registered on date of service

Background:

New sub-specialty is inactive or not registered with the Ministry of Health on the date of service.

Solution:

Please contact the Ministry of Health Registration (providerregistration.moh@ontario.ca) to confirm your specialty has been registered and activated. When you submit a claim under your sub-specialty, your service date must be equal or greater than your sub-specialty effective date.
