An AH8 rejection indicates the claim requires a facility and/or admission date to be entered. Keep in mind when creating a claim, our system indicates those fields are required for the service codes you are billing (it may have been a slight oversight if you were rushing to submit the claims).
Enter the facility and/or admission date accordingly, and resubmit.
Occasionally, this rejection is due to billing the incorrect facility of admission date for service code: E082 (MRP admission premium). In this case, you will need to choose a facility with “AT” designation (Acute Care Treatment hospital), and ensure the admission date =< service date of E082.
