TM1 -Telemedicine error code

Background:

This rejection will occur if:

  • A second telemedicine billing is submitted by the same physician for the same patient on the same service date
  • There is more than one telemedicine premium fee code on the same claim
  • If duplicate billing was submitted
  • If the duplicate billing was intentional as billed for valid reasons

Solution:

Confirm the billing.  Remove the duplicate if required.  If correctly billed, resubmit the claim with Manual Review and fax your claim assessor a written explanation.
