This rejection will occur if:
- A second telemedicine billing is submitted by the same physician for the same patient on the same service date
- There is more than one telemedicine premium fee code on the same claim
- If duplicate billing was submitted
- If the duplicate billing was intentional as billed for valid reasons
Confirm the billing. Remove the duplicate if required. If correctly billed, resubmit the claim with Manual Review and fax your claim assessor a written explanation.
